Cookie policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies elitepassnetwork.com uses, what they are for, how long they last and how you can accept or refuse them. It completes our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and reads again on your next visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage or a script that sends information about your visit, work in the same way and are covered by this policy too.
Under Article 158 of Albanian Law no. 54/2024 "On electronic communications in the Republic of Albania" and the EU ePrivacy rules, we store or read information on your device only with your consent, except what is strictly necessary for the service you ask for: without those cookies the website, its forms or your choices would not work, so they do not need your consent. All the others are used only if you agree.
Cookies set by our own website are "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by another company's domain, such as Google or Microsoft, are "third-party" cookies.
How we ask for your consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you choose:
- Accept all: necessary and analytics cookies;
- Necessary only: no analytics cookies;
- Choose: decide per category (Analytics, Marketing).
"Accept all" and "Necessary only" are equally easy. Closing the banner counts as "Necessary only". Until you accept, no analytics tool runs and no analytics cookie is set.
We remember your choice for 6 months after your last visit. If we add a category or a tool that needs your consent, we ask you again.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw your consent to analytics, the analytics cookies that our website set (_ga, _ga_…, _clck, _clsk) are deleted at once. Cookies placed by other domains (for example clarity.ms or bing.com) can only be deleted from your browser's settings.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are always on. They hold no information that identifies you to us, and none is used for analytics or advertising.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
elite-pass-session | Elite Pass | Keeps the security token of your visit and the state of a form you are sending, for example its error messages | 2 hours, renewed while you browse |
XSRF-TOKEN | Elite Pass | Protects the forms against requests forged by other websites | 2 hours, renewed while you browse |
ep_consent | Elite Pass | Remembers your cookie choice, so the banner does not appear on every page | 6 months after your last visit |
ep_lang | Elite Pass | Remembers the language you chose for the website | 1 year |
ep_site_access | Elite Pass | Only while the website is closed for maintenance or before a launch, and only if you open a preview link we sent you: lets you see the website | 12 hours |
| Cloudflare provides the website's domain name service but does not sit in front of the website, so it sets no cookies on it. If we put the website behind Cloudflare's network, we will list its security cookies here first. |
The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs in a small frame from challenges.cloudflare.com on the pages with a form and checks in the background that the form is sent by a person. It sets no cookies on our website and does not track you from one website to another: Cloudflare uses the technical signals of your browser and connection only to run the check, under its Turnstile privacy terms.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
These help us understand how the website is used: which pages and tournaments are read, where visitors come from, which buttons work and where pages are hard to use. They are set only after you accept analytics, and we never send your name, email address, phone number, organisation or the content of a form to these tools.
Google Analytics
Loaded through Google Tag Manager. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC (United States). We have switched off Google signals and advertising personalisation, and keep the data for 14 months.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google (first-party) | Distinguishes one browser from another, to count visitors | 2 years |
_ga_… (followed by our property's code) | Google (first-party) | Keeps the state of your current visit | 2 years |
Microsoft Clarity
Shows us, without identifying you, how people move through a page: heatmaps of clicks and scrolling, and recordings of visits in which all text and every form field are masked. Provider: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, United States.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_clck | Microsoft Clarity (first-party) | Keeps the Clarity identifier of your browser and its settings | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity (first-party) | Links the pages you view into one visit | 1 day |
CLID | Microsoft Clarity (clarity.ms) | Recognises a browser Clarity has seen before | 1 year |
MUID | Microsoft (clarity.ms, bing.com) | Identifies a browser across Microsoft's services, used by Clarity | About 13 months |
ANONCHK | Microsoft (clarity.ms, bing.com) | Technical check linked to MUID | 10 minutes |
MR | Microsoft (clarity.ms, bing.com) | Refreshes MUID | 7 days |
SM | Microsoft (clarity.ms) | Links the data of one visit | Until you close the browser |
The durations are those Microsoft publishes for Clarity; Microsoft may change them.
Error reports from your browser
With your consent to analytics, we also use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., United States) to receive reports of errors that happen in your browser on our pages, so that we can fix them. Sentry sets no cookies; a report contains the address of the page, your browser and the error, never your name, contact details or IP address. Sentry keeps the reports in its EU region.
Marketing cookies
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies at the moment. If we start using them (for example to measure an advertising campaign), we will list them here first and ask for your consent through the banner again.
Other content from other websites
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is the tool that loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity once you agree. Its script is loaded on every page, before you choose, so that it can apply your choice: it sets no cookies, and with the analytics consent refused no analytics tool runs. Because it stores and reads nothing on your device, it does not need your consent. Like any request to another website, loading it lets Google see your IP address, your browser and the page address.
Embedded videos
Some pages may show videos from YouTube or Vimeo. We embed them in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and with Vimeo's "do not track" option, so that they do not set tracking cookies when the page loads. The players therefore load with the page; when you play a video, YouTube or Vimeo may store data in your browser under their own policies.
Our team's sign-in
The administration area, used only by our team, uses further cookies when a member of the team signs in, including those of our group's sign-in service. Visitors to the public website never receive them.
How to control cookies in your browser
Besides "Cookie settings" on our website, every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, for all websites or for one, usually under "Privacy" or "Settings". If you block the strictly necessary cookies, the forms of our website will not work. Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on every website.
Changes and contact
We update this policy whenever we add, remove or change a cookie or a tool; the date at the top shows the last update.
For any question about cookies or your personal data, write to management@elitepassnetwork.com. See also our privacy policy.
